Service: Custom-built and installed furniture pieces for a new house
I hired Richard to make some furniture pieces for our new house - a table, a carpet, and a few chairs. He was recommended to me, communication was easy since we share the same language, and we took a few turns before finalizing what we were looking for. He already had some designs, I think from his family in Germany, and he suggested them and we just did a few adjustments so it fits into our house. He came with a partner to set it up, it looks amazing and works perfectly, and after checking one or even two other options his was the best price, so we are totally happy with him.

Service: Custom bed fabrication based on designer specifications
She did a great job, she is very talented. She made us a bed we had designed with a designer - she saw the designer again in her workshop and built it impeccably, a beautiful piece. The timing is always a bit random with this kind of thing - it’s not IKEA, there is wood to take and wood to work - but she kept the deadlines and the price, no surprises. I would recommend her, I am very happy with the bed.

Service: Diagnosed and repaired minor washing machine water leak
I had water leaking from the washing machine and I didn’t know what the problem was. Jason replied very fast, came the next day, explained the price if it was a major problem or a minor problem, and it turned out to be a minor one. He fixed it in about 15 minutes and charged the smaller amount, around 20-30 euros. I was very happy with the experience.

Service: Designed and built custom furniture, including a cabinet and tables
I’m an architect and designed furniture for clients, and José and his brother built it. They made a cabinet to conceal a fireplace and the TV, plus a day bed, a sideboard, a table and a dinner table; their work was perfect and they interpreted really well what I intended. They are fast in responding, stick to the schedule and have really good customer service, very keen to detail, and they communicate well in Portuguese and in English. They are skilled professionals and artisans and the price felt fair, so they are my go-to people whenever I need carpentry and furniture.

Service: Custom cutting boards creation, Headboard repair and rectification
I hired Elio for several carpentry projects. He made custom made-to-measure cutting boards for my client - I picked the wood and the finishes to suit the needs and size, and they came out really good, so I keep ordering more. He also came to fix headboards another carpenter messed up, and he was able to repair and rectify by fine-tuning the little details - he has the eye and the desire to take that extra step. He honors the dates he gives, communicates if a stain or finish isn’t coming out right, shows up on time and messages if there’s traffic, and while the price is on the higher side I’m willing to pay for the good work and hitting a deadline.
