Service: Yoga classes focusing on vinyasa, hatha, and mobility workshops
I have been practicing with Tissel for many years and I like a lot her classes because she makes a mix between vinyasa, hatha and mobility, plus she also does kine stretch. I go to her small group classes at her home place and the location is on a pedestrian street close to the metro, and she is very organized with a WhatsApp group where every Monday she posts the topic of the week and we choose Tuesday, Thursday or both. Her workshops are great too - she picked a handstand workshop and I was very afraid, but with her tips I feel more comfortable and now I can do it and I’m still practicing at home. The price is similar than another studio, but here it feels like a private class because sometimes we are four or five and she can see everyone, so I feel more confident and I’m improving a lot.

Service: Physiotherapy sessions for scoliosis management and posture improvement
I took my daughter to Nicolas for physio sessions for her scoliosis and posture, and they helped a lot. The sessions were very well prepared, with supports and exercise photos, and he always took time to explain what he was doing so we could understand his approach. The office was clean, well equipped, with a desk and treatment table in one area and a small sports room with stands and a big mirror, and it was easy to get to from our home. We set a routine on Saturday mornings, he was flexible with the hours for a sleepy teenager, and the price felt correct.

Service: Physiotherapy treatment for serious and permanent spine disorder with nerve and bone damage
I started seeing Ana in September for a specific back issue and she has been amazing, truly helped me. The whole process was easy, from communication to making the appointment, and the staff are friendly and accessible. Her exercises and home care instructions have been effective; I went from once a week to twice a week and I can notice improvement. The clinic is easy to get to for me, about a 20-minute train ride, easy to find, very clean and modern with a good-sized studio and lots of natural daylight, and it feels peaceful.

Service: Personalized fitness training, group workouts, nutrition and health advice
I’ve been going to Attica for a year and a half, doing individual personal training and group sessions, and I coordinate directly with Teodora when needed. The program is super personal, like it could not be more personalized, and I went from having such bad knee problems it was hard to even walk to doing box step-ups and running upstairs. The facility and equipment meet my needs, they keep adding and updating stuff, and they also work with a nutritionist and a physical therapist and do educational stuff. It’s a little more expensive than the average but totally worth it, I tried another gym and it was such a horrible experience, I’ve recommended it to a ton of people, and I’ve never stuck with anything this long even though I’m not a fitness person.

Service: Pilates on the mat sessions for core and structural muscles training
I did Pilates on the mat with Julia a couple of times while I was training for an Ironman, mainly to work on the smaller core and structural muscles rather than just big gross movements. The workouts were really good - not a cardio burn, but definitely challenging for strength, balance and stability, and I felt great after. The space is clean with nice lighting, and she is rapid and on the spot with communication, plus she speaks fluent English. Price feels a bit on the expensive side for locals but within range at an expat level, and I’ve already recommended her.
